The big idea is to turn a carbon emitter into a carbon capture. Los Angeles suffers from a lack of green space. The pocket park turns the structures into a photovoltaic folly or a wind turbine to create energy. The shade from the structure creates a comfortable space for locals to enjoy the green space and shade from bordering trees creates a more comfortable walkable city.
